Changes to my study program

Hello friends, regarding my study program, I really like it a lot. It lasts 11 semesters and it is within the normal duration of a university degree so it's good for me. However, this semester if I could have one less subject, I would accept it with pleasure because I feel that I have a lot of academic load, even so I think that the curricular framework of the Universidad de Chile is quite complete with respect to elective, obligatory and sports subjects with a better mathematical approach compared to that of other Universities. The next semester I will have to take the elective subjects and I think I will take one in the technology area, I am not sure which one yet but I will investigate and as soon as I know I will tell you 馃槉.

Firstly, regarding the facilities of the University, I don't like that there are different campus, which makes the faculties separate and it is more difficult to meet people from other careers, I think that the most beautiful campus in terms of innovation of the Universidad de Chile is Beauchef Campus, for me the best thing would be if everything were one big “University City” with equal facilities for all students; As for the Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (FAU), I think it has quite a deficit in infrastructure, especially on rainy days when it practically floods, but I must admit that in the last year they have made many improvements in general, such as the elevator and especially with the new study room which I find wonderful.

  1. I totally agree with you! University of Chile should be a single campus, like a university city.

What’s my dream Job? Firts of all, my drean job I think it has relation with the major that Im studying at the moment (Architecture). One of the areas of the Architecure   that I like more is structuralist architecure, because it consist not only to desing buildings. Involves a profound compression of the interaction between the form and funsion, focusing on the strenght, stabiliy, and security of the structures. To be able to work as estructuralist architec it`s necessary to have knowledge of mathematics and physics , so it’s not easy this area really. About the salary, it depends of the years of experience and the company in which you work, but generally they are between one million and 2 two thousand Chilean pesos, in my opinion   It's a bit low for the responsibility that comes with it. Finally, maybe in sixth semestre will choose a subject that has relation with the structures and desing, I think that this field of the career it’s so interesting because I can mix the
TRAVEL IN TIME… GO TO THE PAST OR TO THE FUTURE? Personally, I can't stop thinking about how wonderful it would be to be able to travel to the future and discover what it has in store for us. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a world where technology has reached unimaginable levels? I definitely do! My favorite movie is “Back to the Future” and I think it is the one that motivates me to think this way, it reminds us of the importance of dreaming and believing in the infinite possibilities that the future holds for us. I would like to be able to witness how our actions in the present can have a significant impact on our future and have the opportunity to correct the mistakes we have made or see the technological and scientific advances that are yet to come, I find it fascinating. I would like to go to a country in Asia like: Tokyo or China, which are known for their focus on robotics, innovation in public transportation and advanced urban planning, I think they
What is my favorite meal? For me the hamburger is the best food in the world. The preparation of a hamburger basically consists of a juicy and tasty ground meat in a round and flattened shape with two bread tops, and for its filling a variety of ingredients can be added, such as melted cheese, crispy bacon, vegetables, sauces (in my preference only mayo and ketchup), etc. Definitely it's the best food, because you can always change its filling thus making it a personalized creation. However, it has a negative point and that is that excessive consumption of hamburgers can have negative effects on health. Burgers are often high in saturated fat, sodium, and calories, which can contribute to weight gain and health problems like high blood pressure and high cholesterol, but! if consumed in moderation and healthier options are chosen, it can be enjoyed without seriously compromising health. PD: Let's go eat a hamburger :)           Me eating a hamburger ;)
